brooklyn

I was so excited when this beautiful lady talked to me about taking her senior photos.
We decided that her shoot was going to consist of experimentation, a mix of creative and "real" photos, with little to no "look at the camera and smile!" because, guess what, we both hate those.
On a monday afternoon we met up and spent nearly five hours together, driving around town to different locations, playing with light and ideas and getting photobombed by strangers' children and eating sushi and it was the most fun and satisfying photoshoot I've ever done.
Brooklyn, taking your photos was a blessing. I'll point a camera at your face any day.

goggin family

a few favorites of a fun family.

Having many different types of shoots so close together is really helping me figure out what type of photos I love (and don't love) to take.  Anne and Casey decided to buddy up for senior photos, and it easily ended up being one of my favorite shoots I've done so far.  We spent a few hours together joking and laughing and eating ice cream, and almost no "look here and smile" photos had to be taken.
I could do this every single day. What a neat, neat job.
